Scarborough Athletic boss Rudy Funk has confirmed the club have secured the services of seven of their key players for next season.

Following the signing of six players last week, Funk has now concluded deals with top scorer Gary Bradshaw, long-serving striker Ryan Blott, Ryan Williams, Jimmy Beadle, Pete Davidson, Steve Ridley and Joe Lamplough.

Funk said: “I’m delighted to have secured the services of seven more of the guys who performed so well for us last season.

“They have all bought into what we’re trying to do at Scarborough Athletic and what we’re building at the club.

“We need to make sure we have more depth to the squad than last season.

“If we’d not have had so many injuries, we’d have been a lot stronger and who knows where we’d have finished come the end of the season.

“The work continues now and we’ll be speaking to more players over the next week.”
