Scarborough Athletic could offer a debut to new signing Henry Sibenge on Saturday when they play host to Worksop Parramore, 3pm.

Sibenge has joined the club from Arnold Town and he will slot straight into boss Rudy Funk’s squad against the fellow high-fliers.

Fellow new face David Brown will also be in the squad after playing at Armthorpe on Saturday and then at home to Redcar on Tuesday.

Funk said: “Henry would have played on Tuesday night but the registration wasn’t quite done and we like to get things done right.

“He is a Scarborough Athletic player now though and he will be involved on Saturday.

“When I bring new players into the squad I like them to adhere to the changing room first of all, but Henry is an experienced lad, so I am expecting him to slot straight in.

“He brings a lot of speed and excitement to the squad, as does David (Brown), who has also recently joined us.”

Worksop have had a mixed time of it since Boro drew 4-4 in Nottinghamshire back in September.

Worksop won their next three games, but since then their results have been all over the place, a run that has coincided with a nasty facial injury to former Scarborough FC attacker Lee Whittington.
