Scalby under-11s proved way too strong for Kirkbymoorside, beating them 12-0 on a cold and blustery Sunday morning at Carr Lane.
Tyler Smith opened the scoring with a powerful, low drive from the edge of the penalty area..
Further first-half goals came from Liam Coulson, David Hayward, Reuben Staveley and another from Smith to make it 5-0 at half-time.
In the second half Scalby pushed on and went on to score seven more with man of the match Smith completing his hat-trick.
Reuben Ashton fired in one and Ted Edwards scored a quick double, with Hayward getting another to complete his brace.
Tom Benson was also on the scoresheet and an own goal completed the scoring for the hosts.
Scalby boss Alec Coulson said: “The Kirkbymoorside lads deserve a lot of credit as they battled well until the final whistle.”
