Trafalgar wrapped up the Sunday League title on Tuesday night when they crushed Roscoe’s 9-3.
Not only did the result seal a second piece of silverware for Liam Salt’s side, but is also consigned Roscoe’s to relegation from the top flight.
The Traf first team had already won the Senior Cup and they also have the chance to bag the Kenward Cup next month at Scarborough Rugby Club.
Col Jenkinson’s Traf Reserves recently wrapped up the second division title and they could make it five trophies for the club when they meet with West Pier Reserves in the Goalsports Trophy on the same day as the Kenward battle.
A four-goal burst from Sean Exley set Traf on their way, Liam Salt adding a goal either side of the break to give them a 6-0 lead.
Gary Hepples pulled one back for Roscoe’s and a wonder-strike from Matty Rowley made things a little more interesting at 6-2.
Lewis Taylor added a seventh though and Joel Ramm crashed home an eighth to make sure for the champions.
There was still time for Gary Hepples to add his second for Roscoe’s, Liam Salt going one better, his late goal completing his hat-trick and making it 9-3.
Filey Flyers managed a 2-0 victory in their game against itis itis.
After a goalless first half, Lee Micklethwaite opened the scoring for Filey, Dan Baldry tapping home the second late in the proceedings.
