TURKS Head moved up to fourth in the division three standings with a hard-fought 4-0 victory at basement side Albert.

In the only division three game to survive the cold weather, Colin Jenkinson’s side enjoyed the majority of possession, but found their hard-working opponents difficult to break down.

Turks took the lead after just 10 minutes when striker Jon Cairns netted from close range following a goalmouth scramble.

The visitors continued to create plenty of chances but failed to add to their total until the 70th minute when Jordan Aitkens tapped in at the near-post.

Damien Robinson made the points safe when he scored with a neat finish for 3-0.

Jamie Hastie rounded off the scoring for Turks when he picked out the top corner of the home net with a powerful strike from just outside the penalty area.
