Scarborough Pirates A team’s win at Murfield last week was one to remember for a trio of players from the same family.

Club secretary and A team player-coach Keith Paddock played alongside his two sons Alex and Marcus for the first time, and they all contributed to their superb 40-6 success.

There were tries for Keith and Marcus, while Alex did his bit with the boot to add to their tally.

Keith said: “On a personal note it was great that I got the opportunity to play alongside my boys and all three Paddocks were on the scoresheet.

“It was a proud moment for me and it was made better by the fact we all contributed to the win.”

The Paddocks will be hoping for more of the same this weekend when they travel to Garforth Tigers, while Adam Lee’s first team are also on the road at Skirlaugh Bulls A.

“We face Garforth Tigers away this weekend. That will be a tough one, but spirits are high though after our win and we will take that into that game and hopefully get the win.”
