Our win against Beverley on Saturday was our best win and performance of the season to date.

It was a really, really good performance from every single player on the field, everyone came off absolutely shattered.

They guys are really starting to realise what it takes to beat sides like Beverley and our performances are getting better and better.

What made it even more special was coming back from 10-0 down and scoring 32 unanswered points as well.

They’re a strong team and to win so well was a great effort by the team, I was really impressed by the performance.

We’ve had a slow start to the season, but we’ve not had all our key players in place.

Now we’re starting to get a little more consistency in our side, performances are starting to improve.

One of those who is really in form is Graham Hogg.

Graham came to the club under pressure to perform, that can be tough for anyone and he also had a new job and surroundings to contend with at the same time.

His last few performances have been sparkling, his ability to play and organise is exceptional and he’s working really well with Tom Harrison in there.

Saturday is a big test of the guys, Keighley are above us in the league and we are missing four who played against Beverley, so it’ll be a good marker of our ambitions this season.

If we can go there without some key personnel and pick up the win, that would make a statement of our intentions this season. We’ll need to perform to get the win at Keighley.
