Everyone at the club is preparing for our biggest game in a number of years against Blackburn this Saturday.

The club as a whole should be looking forward to it as well, games like this don’t come around very often.

The return of Paul Taylor is a huge boost for Scarborough

The guys will need to handle the pressure come Saturday.

There will hopefully be a huge crowd down at Silver Royd to back us, and hopefully that will give us an edge.

We are used to playing in front of good crowds, we know how to play the game at Silver Royd and we know what to expect.

They have to come over on the coach and we will need to start quickly to hopefully catch them cold.

Whether you’re a rugby fan or not, it would be great to see you at Silver Royd on Saturday for what should be a great match

Preparation will be key.

If the guys prepare properly at training and then before the game, we’ll have a good chance.

I’ve had Blackburn watched and from the reports I had back they are a strong, physical outfit.

We will need to front up in the battle with their forwards, but they won’t have been scoring an astronomical number of points without a good set of backs behind them.

This will be a stern test of my players, if they don’t play up to their potential then we won’t get anything from the game.

The guys need to make the most of occasions like this and seize the opportunity to move a step closer to playing at Twickenham with both hands.

We’ll have Paul Taylor (pictured right) back in the side, which is obviously a huge boost for us.

His experience is huge for us.

Corey Dennis is also back in the squad after he played for the Vikings last week, time will tell whether or not he starts, but it’s great to welcome him back.

Unfortunately Tom Chadwick misses out.

If you’re not fit then you’re not fit, it’s a shame but we’ll have to get on with it.

I wasn’t at North Ribblesdale on Saturday, but from what I heard we started superbly.

It’s a huge game for everyone at the club, fingers crossed we can get the win.
