SCARBOROUGH’S Danny Price is set to face fellow Englishman John Anthony is his fourth professional bout at Hillsborough Leisure Centre on Saturday.
Price has revealed that he will have to keep his focus in Sheffield against the big puncher from Doncaster, who has faced a number of the country’s top cruiserweights during a lengthy career.
Anthony has figured in the fledgling careers of Jon Lewis Dickinson, Matty Askin and Toks Owoh, each of whom are sitting pretty towards the head of the British cruiserweight rankings.
Danny has already caught the eye though after making his professional bow last year, bagging three wins out of three and drawing plenty of praise from a number of pundits.
Price said: “It is just a matter of keeping my focus against him.
“He is a big puncher, but he doesn’t throw many. When he does they tend to count.
“He is a typical journeyman fighter. I will have to be on my guard because he does have the experience.”
