WESTWAY boxer Danny Price once again caught the eye at the weekend as he continues his preparation for world glory.
Price shone at a round-robin tournament in Germany where he won each of his three bouts.
The heavyweight started off with an 11-6 defeat of Geun Kunzel, which he followed up by beating Irish number one Con Sheehan 10-7.
Price capped the event in fine style when he saw off former World and European medalist Alexander Povernov 12-10.
He said: “It is going well for me, and this performance leaves me in pole position going into the European Championships next month.
“Winning those three fights was a big boost to my confidence.”
Price will now return to the training gym, before flying out to Ankara in Turkey for the Europeans, which start on June 17.
