Gladstone Road were the stars of the show at the Scarborough & District Primary Olympic Games.

Pupils from the town centre school bagged a total of 237 points to grab top spot in the standings from the event, which took place at Scarborough College.

They picked up 63 of these points in the running, with 115 coming from jumps and throws, the final 58 arrived in the relay races.

Gladstone were followed home in second place by East Ayton, who grabbed 220 points, while Northstead finished third on 179.
