Boro is one of the few clubs in the league which has juniors in its teams.

Matthew Bell and brothers Kirby and Morgan Beal play doubles and singles games for Boro teams.

“It is great to see youngsters on a bowling green,” said John. “It shows that crown green bowls is a sport that can be played by all ages,” he said.

Kirby said: “I love playing bowls, it’s fun and teaches you concentration and other skills.”
