A young Kingfishers Swimming Squad team made it their fourth victory in a row in the friendly league series at Bridlington pool.
Despite many of these junior swimmers competing in their first competitive gala, Kingfishers stormed to another convincing win with 125 points. In second place were hosts Bridlington (113 points) followed by New Earswick (100 points), with Scarborough swimming club in fourth place with 64 points.
Kingfishers Head Coach, JuanCarlos Lino, said he was really impressed with the efforts of his young swimmers here, many of whom achieved personal best times in their individual races.
He said the friendly club atmosphere along with the hard work and dedication of instructors and coaches at Kingfishers was key to developing the kids motivation and enjoyment in the sport at this level.
Hopefully these children can then keep working hard in the pool to be our new Olympic stars of the future!
