A summer rounders league kicked off this week as Scarborough cyclist Nadia Randji looks to boost her fundraising efforts.

Nadia is set to cycle from Vietnam to Cambodia in November to raise funds for aid relief charity RedR, but she needs to raise £3,500 before she can set off on her 400km off-road challenge.

The league will continue throughout the summer at Scarborough RUFC’s Silver Royd ground on Scalby Road from 7.15pm, and Nadia is keen for as manypeople as possible to come down.

She said: “I have to thank all the girls who have come down to get involved to play some rounders, it was great fun.

“I’d also like to thank Graeme Jeffrey and everyone at Scarborough Rugby Club.”
