Martin Dixon, Marion Adamson and Tom Donaghue scooped victories in the events on the second day of the annual Scarborough Angling Festival.

Dixon edged out Andy Crowe in the Yorkshire Open Codling Championship, his 22lb 8oz 10drm bag earning him victory ahead of Crowe’s 21-6-6.

Marion Adamson secured the win in the Yorkshire Boating Championship, while Donaghue triumphed in the Junior Shore Competition.
