Unbeaten hockey aces in final action

THE SCARBOROUGH College under-14s boys hockey team have been in sparkling form this season.

Their captain Scott Bristowe has been picked for the England Lions due to his impressive efforts for the team this season.

The team has remained unbeaten in school matches and also in their games at the North East Schools Championships, which were held at Leeds University.

The College team defeated Ampleforth and Yarm in Leeds to secure a place in the North of England finals which will be held later this month.

Three other team-members, Henry Harrison, James Marsden and Joe Barker, have also been called up to play for the North Yorkshire team.

The under-14s boys year group have also qualified for the East Yorkshire Schools rugby finals to add to their sporting accolades this season.
