Have your say

I am asked a lot by golfers how to hit the ball further when using a driver. a common mistake for players is to not turn their body enough in the backswing causing a shortage of power.

If you start by taking your normal setup position and then hold the golf club against your shoulders you now need to turn your body enough so the club points behind the ball, this will now give you the feeling of how much your body needs to move to generate more power.

A good idea now is to place a piece of tape on your left shoulder so you can see it when you have turned your body more.

This will help you when swinging the club as once you can see the tape you will then no that you have turned enough to then stray to swing back down to the ball.
