With the game finishing so late and friends (both the Welsh and Boks) to drink with it was a great night in Wellington, yes we should have won, we deserved to win, and if any of the team read this we are very very proud of how you played.
The stadium is at the far end of Wellington, quite easy to get to though and a really good stadium to play rugby in. The New Zealand people got really behind Wales (i think they see the Boks as we see England) it all made for a great event. All supporters got on really well before, during and after the match. We now have to look forward to Hamilton and Samoa (if Namibia can tire them a bit this week then so much the better).
We are now in Christchurch for a couple of days and if ever you need something to put this defeat into persective then this is the place. The CBD is all fenced off and apart from a few workmen it is like a ghost town, there are broken buildings, broken roads and broken hearts everywhere. The city and the people are sad, so when we next meet let us raise our voices and hope that they can hear then in Christchurch.
