Scarborough RUFC have co-opted Mick McGuinn onto their board of directors.
McGuinn joins a busy set-up at Silver Royd, with the club continually striving to progress.
“Cheif executive Graeme Young said: “I am pleased to announce that Mick has accepted an invitation to join the Board of Directors of Scarborough Rugby Union Football Club Ltd.
“Initially this will be by co-option followed by nomination to the AGM for a three year term.
“Mick will be responsible for Standards, Compliance and Procedures ensuring that the club’s statutory obligations are fulfilled in a number of areas.
“Mick will also assist in overseeing the probity of the regularity authorities which the club must deal with from time to time, especially those that perform a quasi-judicial function.”
