The two sides split into six teams, three Old Boys and three current 6th Form sides, with the accumulative scores ending 55-30 to the Old Boys squad.

Each side played three games of touch rugby in the Silver Royd sports hall, and after getting over the last-minute disappointment of having the pitches deemed unplayable, the teams both enjoyed some competitive touch action.

Old Boys’ Christian Dente said: “Everyone was gutted that the pitches were unplayable, especially for the 10th annual game.

“We had a good team out this year and they were missing a few, so it was good to get the win.

“Jaxon Tite did a great job organising the game again, I was merely his consultant.”
