Scarborough RUFC made it back-to-back Yorkshire One victories as they demolished bottom club Acklam 68-8 at Silver Royd.

The home side dominated throughout running in 10 tries.

There was a great balance of youth and experience in the side and young winger Tom Burton followed his debut last week with two well-taken tries.

Debutant Alex Rowley had a solid game at scrum-half deputising for Jordi Wakeham.

With Nino Cutino, Matty Jones, Ian Williams and Alessandro Zavatti the front row is looking stronger than it has for many seasons.

The pieces of the jigsaw are starting to fall into place now for coach Lee Douglas, and he will be hoping that the Seasiders take this form into next week's cup game at home to Middlesbrough.
