SCARBOROUGH RUFC’s Paul White has called on his side to carry their performance at Knottingley last week into the home clash against Keighley on Saturday (3pm).

White, who has reverted to centre from his usual wing position, is confident that the Silver Royd men can collect back-to-back wins that would push them further away from the relegation scrap.

White said: “It was a tough game last week but we defended well and stuck to our game plan and that paid off in the end.

“It took us above Bridlington and Selby so it was a boost, and a win this week would be a massive weight off our shoulders.

“They’re a tough side and their number 10 is a good player. But Graeme Jeffery ran the ball back well last week so hopefully he can counter their kicking game.

“We’re playing well at the moment and we want to keep that going this weekend.”
