The Seasiders recorded a 32-10 win when they entertained Beverley at Silver Royd in the Autumn, coming back from an early 10-point deficit to gain a winning bonus point.

Both clubs have been a bit inconsistent this season but now find themselves in the top half of the league with the Scarborough in fourth and Beveley in seventh position.

Last week Beverley went down 23-13 at Heath but have been in great form at home where they have lost only one game and that was against league leaders Bridlington.

For Scarborough, Chris Purdy who had suffered from long term injury but has recently started playing again and has turned in some top performances for the Vikings, is in the squad as is Joe Marshall and veteran Graeme Jeffrey who plays his third game of the season; prop Nino Cutino who missed last week’s game through injury also returns.

However American back-row Devin Ibanez who flew back from the States last week and made an immediate impact when he came on as a substitute, plays for the Vikings.

Elsewhere tomorrow, the Vikings and Danesmen are in action at Silver Royd against Beverely 2nds and Hull University respectively.

All senior games kick off at 2.15pm.
