Scarborough returned to winning ways on Saturday when they beat Acomb by three wickets in the York Senior Premier Division.
This result ended an impressive unbeaten start to the season by Acomb.
Joe Dale (72) scored his third half-century of the season, but with only Andy Tute able to provide support, visitors Acomb were limited to 178-7.
Mark Tennant (37), James Pick (33) and Darren Harland (31) all weighed in for the home side as they reached the target with a couple of overs to spare.
Flixton slumped to a defeat by 160 runs against Goole Town in division one.
Goole compiled 293-6, as Ben Shelton (104no) and Ashton Nottingham (58) did most of the scoring for the visitors.
Flixton dropped well off the pace in the reply.
Scarborough 2nds hung on for a losing draw in division three south against Cottingham, who fell 12 runs short of victory.
A fine bowling display from Rob Moy (5-37) saw Scarborough skittled out for 158.
Leaders Cottingham could only manage 146-8 from their allotted overs to fall agonisingly short.
