Oh yes it is a great deal – the Spa has named its panto for next year and put together a ticket deal into the bargain.

Next year the Scarborough seafront venue will stage Cinderella with Tony Peers who is also behind this season’s hit Mother Goose.

Customers can buy a family tickets – two adults and two children – for Cinderella and Tony Peers summer show at the Spa for £30.

“That’s great value,” said a spokesman for the Spa. “It’s great to be able to say now what the panto will be and to make this ticket offer.”

Mother Goose runs until New Year’s Day. It stars Ian Moore as the Dame and local performers Katie Gregson as Victoria Vanity and Charlotte Buxton as the Good Fairy.

Dale Ibbetson plays Silly Billy, Phil Beck is the circus owner, Rebecca Christian is Jill and Paul Ludlow is Evil Eirc.

“You can expect comedy and lots of music,” said Scarborough-based director Linda Newport.

The venue also hosts a New Year’s Day concert by the Spa Orchestra. It presents its annual Viennese programme from 3pm.
