A cookery book by a former Yorkshire Coast College student and now Michelin-starred chef James Mackenzie is in the running for a design award.
On The Menu was designed by and published by West Yorkshire firm Face Publications and written by James who runs the Pipe and Glass Inn at South Dalton, near Beverley.
The book, full of James’ recipes with pictures, has been shortlisted in the lifestyle category of the British Book Design and Production Awards.
“On the Menu is more than just a book of recipes. It’s about my life with my family at the Pipe and Glass and the lovely community we live in. We’re all thrilled to be recognised in this way.”
Boss of Face Publications Anthony Hodgson said: “On the Menu was a labour of love and we’re both proud of the finished product.”
