The Scarborough Spa Orchestra summer season it will run from June 4 to September 17 and include free Sunday sessions.
The 10-strong ensemble’s New Year concert attracted more than 1,000 people with audience members travelling far and wide.
The summer season will be made up of nine different concerts each week with Sunday morning performances free of charge.
During the school holidays Kathy Seabrook’s Teddy Bears’ Picnics will introduce youngsters to the magic of music on Monday mornings.
last year’s ticket prices have been held for the coming summer season, including season tickets which are now on sale from the Spa.
“As so many people said on the day, the new year concert not only brightened up the winter, but also made us all look forward to another glorious Scarborough summer filled with equally glorious and tuneful light music,” said Spa general manager Jo Ager.
“The Spa is proud of the fact we host the UK’s only remaining professional seaside orchestra and we are delighted with the news of an extended season,” she said.
“The New Year’s Day concert showed that the Spa Orchestra is still a major draw.”
