A programme of music including blues, ska, jazz and samba takes to the stage at The Den, one of Scarborough’s top music venues.

The regular programme of jam nights and great music from house band the Tom Townsend Blues Band will be supplemented by a new outfit from leading local sax player Dave Kemp, The Unkempt, and songs from three local choirs.

Dave Kemp is well known to audiences in Scarborough and beyond, having played with bands ranging from local favourites Hamp’s Tramps to international giants such as Chris Rea and Little Angels.

“We’re really looking forward to playing at The Den,” said Dave. “The club is quickly building a real reputation for superb music in relaxed surroundings.
