The 11th Scarborough Jazz Festival came to a close with organisers boasting record audiences and hailing it has fantastic.
A session from the Kyle Eastwood Quintet brought the event at the Spa to and end on Sunday night,
Festival director Mike Gordon said: “It has been a fantastic festival, the best yet.”
It opened with a set of cutting edge jazz from trumpeter Laura Jurd and featured the funky sounds of Courtney Pine and warm vocals of Anita Wardell.
The Stephen Joseph Theatre’s Funky Choir performed in the Sun Court and the Jim Birkett Trio played in the jazz lounge.
