THE Scarborough Symphony Orchestra performs its next concert at Methodist Central Hall in Queen Street on Saturday.
The concert will contain some of the best-loved of all orchestral concert music - Offenbach’s overture to Orpheus in the Underworld, and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite.
The programme will open with the overture to Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld and will finish with Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite.
Soloist for the evening is soprano Elaine Dave.
A pre-concert talk given by Frank James will take place in the concert hall at 6.45pm. Patrons are advised to arrive early to guarantee a good seat.
