Singer Terri-Ann Prendergast has every reason to be happy – the video of her self-penned song Smile Again has been released on line.
Filmed at Cayton Bay, near where she lives, Terri-Ann, 23, roped in volunteers to appear and appealed for extras to take part.
“The filming went very well and we had lots of extras who came down to get involved,” she said.
“Everyone worked so hard and I’m massively grateful to everyone who came down.
“ It was a very very cold morning but getting up at 5am was so worth it as the sunrise was beautiful and helped us capture the exact image we wanted.”
Smile Again is a song based on her experience and is about relationships.
“Rather than make the music video a generic story seen a thousand times ... boy meets girl, boy hurts girl ... couple splits ... I wanted to capture the essence of love, relationships and what creates this overpowering bond, “ said Terri-Ann.
“The coast from Scarborough, along Cayton and to Filey looks stunning in the video and is a perfect reflection of the tranquility of the beach! The feedback I have had from the video is truly great and people have commented on the beauty of the coast and the sincere moments that are captured on film.”
As well as gigging and writing songs, Terri-Ann runs her own business. She entertains with themed sessions in care and residential homes.
