Oh yes it has! The build up to pantomime season has begun with the unveiling of a traditional seasonal show Mother Goose at the Spa.

It will be the 10th panto produced by Tony Peers adn opens on Tuesday December 11 and runs until January 1.

“This is going to be one of the best yet! The return of Spa favourite Ian Moore as Mother Goose along with Dale Ibbetson as Silly Billy should provide unlimited laughter. We are looking to build on the success of last year’s panto Aladdin which was one of the best on record,” said Mr Peers.

General manager at the Spa Helen Broadbent said “We are really looking forward to a successful panto season here at The Spa. This year’s show already is selling well with two performances already sold out, and ticket sales on the other performances all going well.”

Joining the cast is Katie Gregson. The Ravenscar-based performer is a pantomime veteran having appeared in shows at the YMCA in Scarborough and the Burniston panto. She will be playing Victoria Vanity.

Mother Goose promises to be another must-see which features an abundance of comedy, fabulous sets, and outrageous costumes…together with a few surprises! You won’t want to miss the only pantomime in Scarborough with true eggs-factor this Christmas.

Scarborough’s Charlotte Buxton, who plays Good Fairy. is no stranger to the Spa shows as she did her first show for Tony Peers when she was six.
