The Stephen Joseph Theatre OutReach department’s schools and community festival continues into next month with four more events.

They are the Young People’s Theatre Festival, Fuse Theatre’s The Land of the Lost and Found, a set of shows from local schools and colleges under the collective title of Beachcomber, and a band night with The Groove Sox.

The Young People’s Theatre Festival features three different groups performing their own devised pieces together over two nights, Friday March 1 and Saturday March w at 7.30pm.

Fuse Theatre – a project which sees young people with learning disabilities working alongside those from mainstream education – presents its show on March 2 at 3.45pm.

Beachcomber features work from Gladstone Infants, Wheatcroft Primary, Seamer and Irton Primary, George Pindar, Filey School, Eskdale School, Whitby Community College and Graham School. It is on March 6 to 8.

The Groove Sox, a local band, will play alongside the theatre’s Funky Choir on Saturday March 2 at 8pm.
