Members of the Last Laugh Comedy Club took to an open-top bus to spread the word the that the club is returning to Scarborough Spa.
Run by Phoenix Nights star Toby Foster, the sessions start on Saturday August 17 and will run each week until September 28.
“After our roadshow visits earlier in the year we’re delighted to announce that Yorkshire’s longest running comedy club is going weekly in the Spa’s Promenade Lounge,” said Toby.
“Every Saturday we will be bringing three of the best stand-up comics from the UK and abroad to Scarborough in order to give you a fantastic night out.
“There will be two hours of top class comedy rounded ff by a nice ‘n’ cheesy disco,” he said.
Spa sales and marketing assistant Stephen Deacon said: “There is no place in Scarborough that does a weekly comedy club now so hopefully we can get people down to the Spa.
“We are bringing some great names to the venue. For £12 people can enjoy a drink, food, disco and some laughs – that’s top notch.”
First up are Colin Cole, George Egg and John Scott.
Doors open at 7pm and the shows start at 9pm.
