Top names in music and comedy at Spa

Top names in comedy, music, drama and pantomime are due to take to the stage in the new season at the Spa in Bridlington.

Lenny Henry, Dave Spikey, Jack White and the Kaiser Chiefs lead the way to the venue.

The Spa also hosts a programme of classic films including Ghost, Seven Year Itch and It’s A Wonderful Life.

Comedian Roy Chubby Brown kicks off next month on Friday November 2 and Jack White - White Stripes front man – there on November 4. More chart music comnes from the Kaiser Chiefs on February 16.

Comedian and Benidorm star Crissy Rock heads to the Spa on November 10 with Lenny Henry appearing on November 27 and Dave Spikey returning to the venue on March 23.

Music and comedy comes from Mike Harding on April 13.

This year’s Spa panto is Beauty and the Beast with Big Brother winner Craig Phillips heading the cast. It runs from Tuesday December 18 to Sunday January 6.

There is music from Locrian Ensemble on December 9 and dance from the Vienna Festoval Ballet in The Nutcracker on Decmeber 2.

The film programme kicks off with Seven Year Itch on October 23 and continues with Ghost on October 30 and The Bonfire of the Vanities on Novemner 6.
