A WOMAN from Scarborough was invited to TV chef Jamie Oliver’s Essex home for an exclusive Pimm’s and pizza lunch as a reward for her outstanding contribution to his party plan business, Jamie at Home.
Pat Symons, 50, was joined by 48 other consultants who work in partnership with Jamie selling his designer collection of lifestyle products through home parties.
Jamie opened up his private Essex home as a way of showing his personal appreciation and thanks to the consultants for their contribution and commitment to making Jamie at Home the thriving business it is today.
Mrs Symons, who joined Jamie at Home in February 2009 and is Regional Director for the North East said, “Jamie’s passion and enthusiasm is infectious and he has definitely inspired me with my own Jamie at Home business. He genuinely wants each and every one of our businesses to succeed, and he is such an inspiration to us all.
“It’s a real privilege for me to be invited into his private home and it’s very special to be recognised by Jamie himself for all my hard work.”
She added, “It was a wonderful day with glorious sunshine. We sat outside in the grounds of Jamie’s beautiful home drinking Pimm’s and were treated to a delicious pizza lunch.”
