A DOCUMENTARY produced by a Scarborough man is to air on the BBC tomorrow.

David Malone, who lives in the town, is to present The Secret Life of Waves on BBC4 from 9pm to 10pm.

In the show, he investigates the importance of ocean waves. He discovers that they are not made of water, can travel sideways and their sound is created by bubbles, and he examines the connection between the life cycles of waves and human beings.

Mr Malone has a long list of documentaries to his name, as producer, director or executive producer, ranging from Secret History to Extraordinary People.
