10th anniversary exhibition by wildlife artist

The event will take place next week on 11, 12 and 13 December.

John, of Langtoft, will present a show which reflects both his interest in natural history and the species with which he has come into contact during the past year.

Among the more unusual subjects will be a woodmouse that was caught in a bucket and which he kept in a decorated tank both for study and to keep his children entertained.

John also imorted a colony of captive bred Bee-Eaters from Belgium which will feature in the exhibition along side a Robin that took up residence around the tent on a family camping trip to Anglesey.

A number of oil paintings have been included again this year. After making his living using primarily pastels for more than 30 years, John has found it exciting to look at his subjects with a view to presenting them in a different medium.

The exhibition runs each day from 9.30am to 5pm and offers originals, prints and cards, and John will be on hand to answer any questions.
