
Work is set to start on the new Aldi supermarket which will be based at the site on St John Street next to St John Burlington Methodist church.
The work is due to begin this month and will see the new store open in the Autumn.
The store will see the company relocate from the site at Bessingby Way while creating 10 new jobs.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “We will begin construction of our new store in Bridlington in April and plan to open the store in late Autumn.

“This is a relocation of our current store in Bridlington that is located on Bessingby Way.
“The new larger, more modern store will provide an improved shopping experience with a brighter store and improved layout.
“The new store will create up to 10 new jobs with our existing store staff relocating.”
