Scarborough bank reopens after worker was diagnosed with coronavirus

The Halifax on Westborough closed last Tuesday (September 1) after a member of staff tested positive for the disease.

The Halifax has confirmed that its Scarborough branch reopened today.

In a previous statement, a spokesperson said the branch has been temporarily shut to allow for the building to be cleaned after a worker was diagnosed with Covid-19.

"Our priority is the wellbeing of our colleagues and customers. We will continue to follow Government guidance, and have taken the precautionary steps to advise some colleagues to self-isolate," the spokesperson said last week.
