The company is providing hospitals and Covid test centres across the UK with back-up power systems in case of a power outage or failure.

The firm has also helped GPs, private pharmacies and retailers such as Boots and Superdrug with rolling out the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines to the most vulnerable and elderly aged 70+ as the refrigerators they have create ensure that the vaccine is at the right temperature.

Since March 2020 the critical power provider has adjusted its business to ensure the NHS and police assisting with controlling the spread of the virus by ensuring that these key workers are able to work in a safe and functional workspace by installing back-up generators and UPS systems during the pandemic.

All site work follows social distance rules set by the government and ensures all staff and clients are safe as engineers follow the two-metre regulations and wear safety equipment to prevent transmission of the virus.

Director at Dale Power Solutions, Lance Lewis, said: “We provide critical power products and maintenance to more than 800 healthcare buildings across the UK and our equipment is used by all our emergency services so we are very aware of the needs of these vital services.

“The criticality of the pandemic meant that we have had to supply and install equipment extremely quickly. We had a team of engineers dedicated to this project who worked closely with the testing equipment provider and testing centres to have backup power in place as a priority.”
