Ling Hill, Scarborough, is scheduled to be resurfaced from its junction with The Whins to Moor Lane on Thursday March 23 and Friday March 24. The timing of the work will depend on weather conditions.

Temporary road closures will be in place during working hours, from 7am to 7pm, at each location.

Through traffic will not be permitted while work takes place and for a short time afterwards while the newly laid surface cools. Parking restrictions will apply in the vicinity of the works. Access for pedestrians will be permitted whenever it is safe to do so.

County Councillor Don Mackenzie, Executive Member for Highways, said: “These are essential works as part of our continuing maintenance of the roads network. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate residents’ patience and understanding.”
