The occasion has been hailed as a huge success.

Ryan volunteered his time to set up and play a Christmas-themed set to the shoppers who were out in full support of the event.

Ryan was surrounded by a crowd that had turned out for a socially distanced dance.

Paley’s Fruit and Veg had created space for Ryan to perform and provided him with a tent for shelter.

Ryan said “It was wonderful to see so many people turn out for the event and come and listen to me.

“I really enjoyed it and it was so great that all the local shops and eateries had clubbed together and were working united in trying to create something to look forward to by many in a difficult time. This year has been the worst year in many people’s lives.

“It was so nice to see that people could still enjoy themselves whilst adhering to the current rules and regulations in place for Covid-19.”

This was Ryan’s last live performance of 2020 and he has just found out he has been nominated for a National Entertainment Award for the third year running.
