New hair and beauty salon launches on Northway in Scarborough

A new hair and beauty salon has launched in Scarborough.

N C Hair, which is based at 24 Northway, started with an introduction week.

People had the chance to book in for a free blow dry and glass of processco while meeting the staff.

The salon is owned by Nicola Davey and Chloe Myock.

They have taken the plunge to open the business, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, to bring a bit of joy to the people of Scarborough.

Nicola, 37, grew up in Eastfield and now lives on Falsgrave. She started as an apprentice in a Scarborough salon when leaving school and didn’t quite complete her course as she had her daughter Lauren.

She returned to study hair full time at Yorkshire Coast Collage and now has 10 years’ experience.

Chloe moved into hair and beauty in the last few years after working mobile.

She said: “We provide a wide range of services including hair, classic lashes, Russian lashes and micro bond hair extensions.”
