Roasters cafe in Scarborough applies for alcohol licence
One of Scarborough’s most popular cafes has applied for a licence to sell alcohol.
Cara Wigley, of Roasters in Aberdeen Walk, has lodged an application with Scarborough Council for new activities.
The application includes the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises and also the performance of live music and the playing of recorded music.
Under the terms of the licence the premises would be open from 8am until 11.30pm.
All the licensable activities, including the sale of alcohol, would take place between 10am and 11pm.
The application is now out to consultation.
The closing date for representations is Monday November 16.
