Which? said: “Inntravel is a consistent top-performer specialising in off-the-beaten track self-guided holidays.”

Established in 1984 and based near Castle Howard, Inntravel specialises in providing slow holidays, carefully crafted self-guided holidays and breaks that discover the lesser-taken paths of Europe and beyond, whether on foot, on two wheels, on skis, or by rail or car.

Inntravel’s managing director Karl Watson said: “Though Inntravel has grown since the early years as a family-run firm with just a handful of staff, we remain a dedicated, tight-knit team, so we were absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted once again.

“It will come as a particular fillip to our team at this time who have worked so hard to get things right for our customers throughout the pandemic. It says a huge amount for our staff and suppliers’ dedication and commitment to quality and customer service.”

Last year Inntravel scooped the highest customer score in the 2019 Which? Recommended Provider Holiday Companies survey.
