Alisha originally focused on making and supplying sizzlers, scented granules that work similar to wax melts but are less messy.

Demand grew throughout January and February until the lockdown started in March – and then the orders started to rise rapidly.

She went from dealing with one or two orders per week through January, February and March to 15 orders per week in April. She is now delivering around 200-300 orders per month with customer demand continuing to rise.

Her product range has also expended from sizzlers to include sample boxes, hampers, carpet fresheners, bath bombs, soap sponges, wax melts, toilet fizzers, burners, room sprays and car air fresheners.

Alisha said: “Lockdown really helped my business as everyone became stuck indoors and they had time to decorate and enjoy their own homes. It was a lonely time for a lot of people but I think my socially distanced drop-offs and chats have helped. It definitely helps me and I enjoy getting to know my customers.

People invest in the story behind a brand, so I include some of my day-to-day life on my social media pages, too.”
