"One of the great things about the shop, the fact that people use it as a social hub and pop in to chat to the staff and each other, is actually counter-productive just now," said owner Paul Toole.

"In order to protect our staff and customers we’ve decided that temporary closure is the only realistic option.

"We’re continuing to provide an online service and our customers responded really positively to our plans when we made the closure announcement on social media.

"In fact we’ve had a flurry of online sales over the past few days and it genuinely feels as though people are buying some music to see themselves few the few months, while access to previous activities is likely to be limited."

Paul was due to DJ at this year's Glastonbury. He has been going to the music festival 1989 and said he would really miss the event.
