Three local B&Bs feature in the prestigious Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Awards’ top 25 venues

The Grange and Saxon Villa, both located in Fylingthorpe, were placed at 10th and 24th respectively in the prestigious Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Awards 2020 along with Fairhaven Country Guesthouse in Goathland (23rd place).

The Grange hosts Paul and Malcolm Laverack have been running the Grange B&B for just over six years, while Des and Heather Weston of Saxon Villa are celebrating their eight year.

They amazed by the accolade of being in the top 1% of hotels worldwide.

Paul Laverack said: “We try our best to exceed our customers’ expectations of what a B&B is. We always strive to put the customer first and with the Covid-19 pandemic never more so. Our customers need to feel safe with us and we with them.”

Des Weston said: “We are delighted to be in the top 25. We work hard to ensure guests enjoy our house and their stay in Fylingthorpe and Robin Hoods Bay as much as we enjoy living here.”
