In the North East and Yorkshire 688,990 doses have been administered in one of the biggest vaccination programmes in British History.
The MP also said the area is on course to fulfil the target of making sure the four top priority groups have had at least one jab by Monday, February 15.
Mr Hollinrake said “The NHS vaccination programme, the biggest in our country’s history, has got off to a terrific start thanks to the hard work of all of those involved and I would like to thank everyone who is involved.
“It’s great to see that so many people in my area have received the vaccine as we lead the world in our fight back against coronavirus.
“I have had glowing reports from constituents who have had the jab and seen for myself first hand how well it is working at Pickering surgery.
“I look forward to getting my vaccine over the coming months and I urge everyone to do the same when they get the call up.”
